Getting Close to Christmas!

Thanks for the welcome back everyone =)

Moms been a bit under the weather so it's been a bit longer than I'd have liked between posts.
But I gotta new lil netbook so we're back online.

My lil sis Bug didn't win the World's Coolest Dog & Cat Contest she entered but some of our dear friends did, so we cannot complain. We're just thrilled she even made the finals.
One of my Blogger buddies Harley DID win in his catagory Stretch & Yawn! Harley is Daisy the Curly Cat's bro. Concats Harley!

Moms is very late doin this, but she just threw some lights outside tonite. Yeah it's pretty much Christmas already but we just don't want things lookin bleak out there.

Well this is just a quickie post I know.
Mommy heard that plain ol mayonaisse is very good for wrinkles when used as a nite cream.
So I'm gonna try to eat her face later...

TTYL friends,
~Christopher

PS, I was gonna put up a Holiday Wish List on my blog mol but I waited too long!

Going Back Online (I'm baaaack!)

So sorry for yet another hiatus offline. Seems my computer totally died and mom doesn't have a compy at work. We tried to at least send a few notes via a friend's phone to some kitties we know who are ill, and to even take a bus to the library to snag a compy in the rain and cold...it just hasn't been working out well for me online lately so I haven't been blogging or Tweeting.

But I'm fine and my family is fine and we're going online for good tonite.
Somehow mommy was cut a check to close out a bank account that she thought was empty...that shoulda been empty...and there was enough to buy a little mini netbook. It's like a kitten-sized laptop!
We'll have that online this evening when the mom gets home from work.

Right now I'm at a public compy and they aren't supposed to let kitties in even if my typist is with me, so I'll make this short as possible.

I'm happy to announce that my new baby sisfur BUG is a finalist in the Catster/Dogster Worlds Coolest Dog & Cat Show. She sent in her pic very late in the game and we had no idea she'd make the finals mol! She's in the Costumes and Shades catagory.
Thanks to everycat who voted. The voting for Best in Show ends the 16th I believe.
She has great company and everyone of the finalists is a potential BinS. They're all great and many of them are our pals =)

Anyway, sorry I missed the NASA and SOYUZ astronauts on Twitter when they went into orbit. I heard there were some hardware problems on the ISP and I'm glad you guys were able to work them out without me there.

Thanks to all who follow me on Blogger and Twitter and plz come and check meowt because I got new stuffs and the holidays are just around the corner =)

Love you all
~Christopher

Today's My Birthday!

After a two week hiatus after my brother Pickle's passing and a new keyboard, I'm back blogging on my BIRTHDAY!

I'm 2!

I had some bacon and treats and was given a cool green collar by my Catster pals Nikko and Scooter. The collar was made by Calvin and his mom. His mom makes all kinds of neat stuffs for kitties so go check it out right now

Click the Cat in the Clover

Since I been offline, our stray kitties CC and Summer have been neutered and spayed. A big meow-out to my pal Shawnee Shep and I got stories about those adventures for another day mol!

Mom's been caring for a sick lil kitten. Yes, soon after Pickle's passing but at least mom went into this one knowing there was a good chance the kitten might not make it. So no shocks, you know? Little runt of a litter of 3. Two big kittens that weighed almost 2 lbs and the runt weighed 14oz. The big ones got all the food as well, I guess. All had fleas but the big kitties were only slightly anemic and still playing and active. The runt was white-gummed, weak and seemed twice as infested. She was also dehydrated, had scabs and fur loss from fleas and didn't want to eat much less play.
All were deflead and checked and the big kittens found homes very fast after a few days of vitamins and TLC.
Runt was down and ill. Mom tube fed her and just tried to get her through it.
The kitten was really small and also pretty homely. She looked like an "ugly bug" with her big eyes and scraggly look.
So she became Uggy Bug and now just Bug.
After a week she finally purred (Wednesday) and the next day she played with a string. On Friday she was up and playing and eating all by herself. She's still small statured but has gained some weight finally.
On Saturday Halloween she felt well enough to wear a little costume at mom's job. Here she is:

So that's the basic update and now I'm off to PAWTY on my BIRTHDAY!

Thank You for Your Sympathy

Thank you all for the outpouring of love and concern for my little brother Pickles.
He was buried about four feet from our "catio" as mommy begins to work on it during the cooler months.

Mommy is very sad and feeling depressed what a sad holiday season this will be without our human grandma and Patrick and now Pickles.
Working on the catio will be good therapy, no?

I promise to be a very good boy and help take care of mommy and the other kitties and help with the holidays.

My Baby Bro Pickles Has Passed Away ='(

Our baby Pickles died in the wee hours this morning.
A siezure mommy thinks.
He was just too tiny and fragile and sweet for this Earth.
My bro Patrick passed Aug 4 of CRF and sent him as a light to help mommy thru her grief, and now that little light has gone out too.
Life is full of cruel jokes I dont know why ='(
Its not fair. Mommy is very upset and we may take some time away.

Pickles my little friend, brother and co-blogger I love you.
Rest in Peace tiny baby.

Many Tears

All Dumped Kittens Have Homes!/w Edit!

Yes they all have homes:

Now Mommy's going to concentrate on getting her stray mommacat's two babies adopted now. Going to get a pic of them later today. Nice fat fluffies. Moms camera is dumb and says it's card is full and it only has TWO pics on it. Then it won't delete. We'll try to get a pic up of Summer and CC too, ok?
Mom will call the vet to make a date for mommacat (Summer) to get spayed and our rescue CC neutered. Vet is going out of town a couple of days but Wednesday next week looks good!!

EDIT! The nice peoples who'd come to look at one of mommacat's fuzzy babies came back and picked her up just now! They have a Siamese wnho wants a playmate =)

Woohoo!

Two Kittens Re-Homed

Just a quick Sunday update on the abandoned kittens (details last two entries).

One of the little box-kittens has a new home. Yes, he was a bit young (6 weeks) but the lady has experience with younguns.
Also, the beautiful "roadside" kitty has a good home with a very nice couple and their gentle young son.

Now we just have two of the box-kittens and momma's own 2 fluffy kittens (pulled from wild stray kitty Summer). Hopefully, mom can get a day off work this coming week (been filling in for a hurt co-worker) so she can get Summer into the vet for a spay. Hang in there Shawnee Shepherd! We haven't forgotten your generous offer!

Mom also needs to get our CC neutered. He was trapped from being in a ceiling for 6 days. YES he is a REAL Ceiling Cat, mol!
But he's indoors with me and he isn't spraying yet and everyone else is fixed so the priority is wild mommacat Summer. Her two babies are GORGEOUS~will get pics~but she doesn't need to have another litter. Shame on her former "owners" who moved and left her behind. They took the un-neutered male but left the pregger female =(

Yup, kittens are being re-homed and all is well.

Pics of Dumped Box Kitties

Today mommy got a pic of the little kitties that were dumped at her job in a box (details last entry). They are really cute. Two girls and a boy. The one in the front is all squinty because of the flash. Mom's gonna try to find them homes.
Not even two hours later some kids found a kitten on the shoulder of the street just yards from mom's job. The street is busy and crosses a major highway and there aren't any houses right around. The kitty was only a few weeks older than the little 5-6 week old box babies. Mom doubts the kitty just wandered to where she was. She could have, but people have such a history of cruelness and apathy in the area that the kitty probably was dumped.
Luckily the kids were able to catch her. She's so shy and beautiful. How could someone not want her? Here she is:

I beg that peoples will love their babies forever and not throw them away!

Mommy knows that the peoples who regularly read this blog and love their babies would go to the ends of the earth to keep them healthy and happy and with the family. Or they would find suitable homes if they absolutely couldn't. What those mommies and daddies would give to have those babies who've passed back with them...
And then to see others just throw their babies away =(

My mommy has been very sad today.

Kittens Dumped in Box

Yesterday at mom's job, someone had dumped a box next door at a business that was closed down. Inside were three little kitties about 5 weeks old. Cute brown tabbies, two girls and a boy. Also with them was an unopened can of catfood.

The babies were very scared. Mommy got them toys and put medicine in the boys eye (it was a little drippy-not bad) and they will be kept at work until homes are found.
They're getting braver already and playing.

Mommy's own stray mommacat (who has been named Summer) will hopefully get into the vet for a spay this week...but not sure as mommy might be working straight thru the week.
Mom desperately needs the hours and since a coworker has like a broke leg or something, mommy's picking up the slack.
Mom's ready to find Summer's 2 babies homes. And now the new 3 littles.

Peoples, PLEASE spay/neuter your kitties and doggies and keep them forever and love them!

My little bro and co-blogger Pickles is doing great. He's always been conservative but after his brush with death he seems to be especially playful. He's following mommy a lot, too. He's got a wierd, loud voice, I guess because he's deaf, and he meows in my ear.

Hope everyone had a great weekend!

Good News!

Just a brief entry before mommy goes back to work...

Good News!
My little deaf brofur Pickles is home and walking!
It is a true miracle!

Still don't know exactly what happened. He may have fallen off the counter or something to make him go into shock. Even his body temp dipped. He may have also had a low blood sugar episode prior...not sure as mommy began oral glucose as soon as she found him rigid and laying in a puddle of peepee. After loading him up on sugar the tests at the vet would have been tweaked so we don't know for sure.

Usually little ones come out of it pretty fast once they get sugar. He was a limp rag for hours which made us wonder if he'd fallen.

No signs of a liver shunt, infection, poisoning...

We may never know.
Hopefully he will never have another seizure or try any daredevil stunts.
When mom goes to work, Pickles is going into a nice cage for safety.
He's three months old and the size of a two month old and he's very babyish and needs to stay out of trouble.

Thank you so much for your purrrs and purrrayers.
Pickles was in bad shape yesterday.
I could never dream he'd be sitting here eating today.
Very much a miracle.

Pickles Very Ill

By little brofur (and co-blogger) Pickles is very ill It doesn't look good at all =(

He's only three months old and very small and born deaf. Here's a pic of him when he wasn't sick.
Earlier today he had a siezure of some sort and now is lethargic and at the vet. It's like is little body has gone limp and given up. Not sure what's going on but there's a chance he has some other genetic problem...neurological or perhaps his body cannot process/doesn't make certain enzymes or chemicals or things.

This came on very sudden and is very heartbreaking. My brofur Patrick passed away from CRF on August 4 and sent this little guy the very next day. Pure white and a Siamese mix just like Patrick himself...

Please purrrr and purrray for little Pickles. He really does need a miracle.

Thank you, my friend.

Rescue Stories

SORRY about the two-week hiatus =(

Mom was busy with work and having the flu and stuffs.
Our A/C works great and that is a good thing! We had two quite cool and rainy days (niiice) but now back to 95.

I'm happy to say that thanks to Shawnee the Shepherd the stray mommy kitty that we've been caring for will get a spay. This sure helps us a LOT. They keep sending mommy home early from work and her two-week paycheck looked more like a one-week paycheck, mol.
But luckily...we GOT a paycheck. Lotsa peoples don't these days...

The stray babies are two hissing spitting little balls of fluff haha. It's fun and rewarding to tame little wildies. I like em a lot. They're longhaired girls and they smells GOOD! The babies will be adopted out and we will continue to feed and care for mommy cat. I think we will name her SUMMER. She will probably get into the vet next week for her surgery.

The other rescue is more of a real rescue. A kitty scared and stuck in the ceiling of a business. Mom was shocked to find out there was a kitty up there, or so the employees were pretty sure it went up there, she had no idea! When mommy asked when they believed the kitty went up there they said about 5-6 days before when a woman came in with it and let it go! She had it in a box trying to get rid of it. This was in JULY with temps 102-107 everyday! Kitty in the ceiling with no food and water and you know it must be even hotter up there =( Didn't anyone care? What if it died up there?

Mom went and borrowed a trap right away and by the next morning she had a terrified, wild soft grey kitty boy about 4 months old. She had to wrestle him with leather gloves into a carrier. Luckily he wasn't too dehydrated and was probably coming down to drink from the toilet at night.

Long story short...he's my pal now. He likes us kitties and is trusting mommy enough to let her pet him. He took a lot of work. He's skittish but he purrrs and plays now. Before he didn't know what a toy was and I think he'd been abused. (He'd duck and cower if you reached towards his head like he'd been punched...and terrified if you even raise your voice.)

His name is CC. That's short for Ceiling Cat. He's a REAL ceiling cat, mol.
His fur is super soft like a rabbit but I don't think he's part rabbit or anything.
CC will get a neuter some time later. Right now it's more important that outside wild kitty gets fixed so she doesn't have more babies.

Anyway, I'm doing good and we're hanging in there.
Sorry to be away. I missed everyone.
I'm back now.

Just a Brief Note

Our a/c arrived yesterday as mom was getting ready to go to work. It was supposed to arrive this coming Monday. Mom's glad she happened to be home to get it...well, at least if it's going to arrive off schedule at least it came EARLY, haha!

Mom's pretty sick with a chest/head cold so she'll load the a/c in the window later tonite after work. Besides, the temp has gone down a bit because we finally have rain. In fact, we're flooding now. Ah, south Texas weather! Supposed to be mid 90s next week and even if it does cool off, well, we'll need it for next year. We kinda skip Spring and barrel right into summer anyway.

But we got it =)

Since mom's not feeling so great and working thru it, I'm just sending a brief entry thanking everyone for their purrrrs and woofs. It rushed that a/c right in!
Have a GREAT weekend everyone!

YAY! eBay A/C is OURS!

Mommy got such a headache from the heat and anticipation of the eBay auction that she lay down during the last hour of bidding and fell asleep!

If you ever do eBay you know there's peoples called "snipers" who wait till the last moment to outbid. (Um, not that mommy has EVER done that...oh, no.) Luckily no snipers and when mommy got up today we'd WON! Mommy just zipped the PayPal thru and it should leave the warehouse in 2 days! It's comin from New Jersey (Heyyyyy I wonder of Shawnee Shepherd has anything to do with this?? MOL!) and being brought by a truck.

Yeah, it got hotter yesterday than the weatherman said it would...today and the rest of the week about 95 still. The rain, well, it never did come back. But better than 101-107 (official) it's been.
Funny cause two weeks ago mom took a small outdoor thermometer with her on her errands to see the actual temp that was on her. The TV said it was 102. But as mom stood at the busstop at Wal-Mart...in the shade...over grass...the thermometer said 104. Ina shade.

The day it said 109 in the backyard, mom took an aluminniumum pie plate an put it on the driveway and put the thermometer inside. When it maxxed out she put a candy thermomter in it and when the temp in the pan got to 132 degrees she cracked an egg in it and scrambled an egg in the driveway MOL! MOL!
Why? To see if she could ;)

At least 95 isn't egg-cookin weather and just knowing we'll hopefully have an a/c late in the week makes it easier to sweat it out. YAY!

And a very special meow-out and big THANKS to my doggie friend Shawnee Shepherd . She's helping get my stray kitty friend spayed. We're going to keep caring for the kitty (she's pretty wild) and have homes for the two little daughters when they're weaned and ready. We gotta figure out a name for the little mommy cat and mom's gotta sneak out and try to get a pic as well.

EBay Bidders Get Out of Our way! Mol!

Thankfully your purrrs have dropped the temps a bit and the weatherman says only 93 today!
Still pretty hot but MUCH better than 101-107 in our record-breaking endless south Texas summer. And yup, our a/c went out a few days ago...just burnt up from being pushed too hard and after the warrenty expired of course, mol.

You guys and girls have sent in some great ideas. We checked Freecycle locally and found no a/cs being given away but we saw (among other things) some free puppies. MOL! Puppies seem an odd thing to be recycled!

The PayPal donation button is a good idea and mommy just may put one up for a little stray kitty she's feeding. Her family moved off and left her preggers. She's pretty wild. And she had two gorgeous babies in the kitty house mom built on the porch. They're maybe going on three weeks now. Mom wants to get her spayed soon.
We've been thru the low-cost fix deals and people start getting on the list at the mobile unit reeeeal early. Mom got there at 3am and was 21st in line and was turned away.
Since mom has no car she has no where to wait but on the curb with a carrier and it isn't safe to spend the night sleeping out there, mol. After being turned away 4 times mom gave up on that. We tried going to the actual brick and mortar clinic but the voicemail is always full and we can't even get in. There are some other programs but mom doesn't qualify for any type of public assistance so that worked against her.
Honestly, the low-cost programs aren't so good when mom has to take a day off work to meet the schedules and lose a day of pay.
She was lucky to snag her minimum wage job after losing two jobs in 2009 and needs the hours.

SO we just may try that ol PayPal button and take the kitty to a regular vet. That way she spends the day and we have someone to call who will be familiar with her case if need be. If we decide to try that we will post a picture of her all spayed and her invoice ;)

And WOOHOO mom took the TV to the Paw shop and they gave her some money for it and we're gonna get an a/c from eBay. Brand new, free ship, cheaper than the sky-high prices locally. Seller has great feedback and sends follow-up emails. Mommy's bidding on it so nobody better outbid her!!!

Teehee, I couldn't see that TV anyway!

I'm HOT (and not in a good way)

As you may or may not know, I live in south Texas. This year we've had the longest, hottest summer on record. Yeah, we do hit a couple 100s on most summers, but this year 101-107 (offical temps) for about 2.5 months straight. Of oourse out on the terrain it's even hotter. This, with a high humidity. People here who are pretty used to hot climates are suffering not to mention the animals. Some peoples have died and we're having recurring weather alert days for poor air quality~high ozone~because of the intense heat and humidity.

Which brings me to the jolly news at hand: last night our A/C went out. It's just over two years old (no more warrenty of course) but the intense summer must've burned our window unit out. Mom just started her new and minimum wage job and this is NO time for this box in the window to go out! *hisssss*

But it's September, you meow. Yes, yes it is. And I must admit it IS a bit cooler now. Today is predicted to be "only" 98-99 degrees. Which is better than 107 I must meow....but still, Ima fryin. It's about 87 inside right now with fans at 11am. I don't know what it will be when it gets hottest at 5pm. Mom goes to work in a bit and she'll be in A/C and she wishes she could take the cat family with her but she can't (we have a group of 7).

So, I'm HOT.

If you could send some purrrrs for cooler weather...maybe that we even have a Fall, I would really appreciate it. I know the power of the Paw and Purrr can work miracles but can it change the weather, mol?

Sweatfully Yours,
~Christopher

Tell Me About YOU =)

First, a few kitties have commented about my mod shirt in my profile pic, so I thought I'd put up a bigger pic so you could dig the sheer modness of these threads:

Anyway, now about YOU!
I'd really like to know fun things about my pals who read my blog and Tweets.
I'd love to ask a question now and then and I'd be tickled (an I like to be tickled) if you would answer in a comment. This question is geared towards pets but, heck, if you're a peoples go ahead an lemme know anyway =) Remember you don't have to be a member of Blogger or Google to comment to my blog. Everyone is welcome.

Actually this is a two part question:

Q: YUMMY! (Name three things that you love to eat in your pawrents fridge right now.)
Q: YUCKY! (Name three things you wouldn't eat in your pawrents fridge right now.)

I'm really interested to know.
In fact, I'll start off first.

YUMMY: chicken, cottage cheese, leftover catfood!
YUCKY: orange marmalade, salsa, dill pickles!

Have fun!

It translates as "This Blog Has Heart"

Wow.

Thank you.

Blind Like Me

Like my profile says, I'm blind. I was born that way. I've been told I have pretty eyes...they just don't see. I do everything a sighted kitty can do. I'm not shy or cautious. In fact, I love to explore and get into things (a lotta things) and I love to play and meet new friends. I like to ride the bus, too. This is me. I'm not sure why my tail looks kinds squirrely here.

I have a girlfriend named Penny. That's her in my sidebar. She's blind like me. She's also deaf. I luv her so.
She lives at a wonderful sanctuary in North Carolina called Blind Cat Rescue & Sanctuary. Blind kitties make wonderful companions. I know this for sure.
Here is a picture of me and my gurl:
I send her Christmas cards and gifts and chipped in on a cat tree for her and her pals. Drop by the sanctuary's site. Make a donation if you can. Penny and her friends would appreciate it.

Oh and I'm on Twitter now...I'm Tweeting, mol. So look me up and follow me and I'll follow you. You can see my Tweetings right here on my blog as well.

Thanks for taking the time to check meowt =)

Our Catio

In case you don't know...a catio is an enclosed patio/outside enclosure for kitties.
And we got one. It's not finished because mom lost her job in mid-build. She has another job now but has lots of bill catching up to do first. (Pretty inhumane to put a cat project on the back burner, but mom says bills are first. Hmmmph.)

Anyway, the wood was bought with a lottery scratch-off ticket. Mom spent $2 and won $100. We'd always wanted a catio, especially my brofur Patrick who is now an angel. He was in the last stage of renal failure so mom figured she'd better take that money and get to work fast so he could see his catio. Then she lost her job. But Patrick was able to advise and check out the building process and even play in it tho it has no shelves. He saw it go up and gave it approval.

It still has no shelves or door, and a second room is framed but the frames are not up. That's ok as it's the longest hottest summer on record here and the thermometer on the catio frame said 109. We'd definately burn our bacon even in the shade there.
So, here's what's up:
This is one corner of the main catio. It's painted in deck paint called Stone- henge. I think that's a fancy word for gray. It has mesh on it so we can't run amok (if it had a door to close of course).

Here is my brofur Patrick inspecting the work on the catio. It will be three weeks tomorrow that he became an angel. I miss him a lot.

Here is a small view from the outside. It kind of took on a tiki theme as mom put up bamboo shades. There are cabana lights across the top. And tiki is big time retro, yes? Hopefully in the Fall mom will be able to finish it.
I'm looking forward to it.

Thank you everyone who took the time to read (and comment on) my last entries.
It looks like my little bro will be doing a few more guest spots (he's getting a swell head over that) and mom may get that ol phone. She had one as a little girl because her daddy wouldn't trade it in for a cool princess phone like her friends had...cause it still worked. Finally, mom's mom twisted his arm and he traded it for a hip pushbutton in Harvest Gold. But it wasn't the same and there have been many phones since cause they just break and stuff. Two wireless phones have shucked out since November alone.
So we may get a black brick.
And I will lay on it =)

A Guest Blogger with a Product History!

Hey, this just in and I'm proud to present a product history done by my brofur PICKLES.
He's only 8 weeks old and pretty much just sleeps, eats, and plays but he swears he can do product histories and reviews. He's also deaf. Since I'm blind, I figure we together can pull this blog off.
Depending on how good his column goes off...we may do more.

Today he will present a brief overview of a phone mom's been looking at on Ebay. This is a Western Electric model 500 first launched in 1949:

Hi! This iz a fone an it pritty heavie. A blak brik an u plug in the wallz an it say RIIIINNNNNG but Im def so I dont rilly no how that sounds. The End.
~Pickles

Oh, gawd. This blog is in trouble...

The Wall I Destroyed

Ok, it wasn't totally my fault. We'd had a pipe leak sometime back and it must've weakened a corner on the wall.
Of course, the fact I stretch up and make thorns on that cornner probably didn't help.
And I tore the corner off where the drywall was weak.

My bad.

Since it's been over a hundred degrees here every day like for two months and the humidity feels like the jungles of Viet Nam (that's what mom says tho I don't think she's been that far from home) mom could only fix the wall late at night. Which she did last night. ~Yeah, we have an a/c machine but it's struggling.

I dunno why they call that drywall cause it seemed pretty wet. Mom said it's like frosting a big cake, tho I never heard her use that type of language when she frosts a cake. Yes, I was in it a lot. I must be included in everything.
I headbonked the mesh tape and muddy stuff and mashed the sharp nice corner mom made with a funny little knife. She put a fan on it all night.

Today, when it was dry, she was mixing some stuff to make a last coat so I took the opportunity to see how well my new scratchy corner worked. It was nice of mom to build me a new one.
But gosh, she yelled at me as soon as I started!

I guess she wants to put that last coat on it and then paint it nice before I can use it again.

Hello Everycat

It's been a while since I updated my blog. Things got very rough and there wasn't many happy things to blog about, so I put it on hold.
Things actually got worse before they (hopefully) get better.
In a nutshell, my mom lost her job for the new year, found one, lost it and now has another. She's used to staying in a job for a long time so this has been hard.
About six weeks before she lost the second job, her mommy (my human grandma) passed away. And on the fourth of this month my brofur, Patrick passed from CRF at 13.5.

Mom's in debt now (and I hear a lot of mommies and daddies are) and her new job pays really low, but at least she found a new job, right?
It pays for the catfood and mom was also able to buy a couple gallons of paint on sale to spruce up the place so we won't be so sad.

Something new.
A small step to inspiration.
A new start and maybe something fun.

Patrick actually picked out the paint for the kitchen himself. Mom had a bunch of chips and couldn't decide what color so he went over and chose a chip and just kept rubbing and loving on that one chip.
So Frosted Green Grape it is! An almost white green. Mommy painted the kitchen real fast so Patrick could see his color. He liked it a lot. (He passed away two days later.)
I'm blind, but I know it must be nice cause my brofur picked it out.
And I know it will go with our retro look.

Mom says we live in a "Mid-Century Modern Ranch" but it's not upscale enough to be an "Atomic Ranch". I think it was built when there were dinosaurs.
I don't think we got any chickens or cows or horses on our ranch. (What kinda ranch is this supposed to be?)

Back in Business!

I'm opening my blog back up!

So, hang out, relax, and I'll be putting up new posts soon.

Peace Out.

...

I have to close my blog for now.
Thank you whoever read it.
Hopefully someday I can get it back up.

My Blog is Running Late

Please forgive the huge lapse over the important holidays when bogs mean the most.
Truth is, my editor worked her other job straight thru and because of logistics, my actual Christmas was set back.

But we did have a small Christmas time together.
Tha kitties got some cool cards and toys from the snail mailbox.

We had a very low-key New Years because my human grandma is very sick. We're just happy she's here to see 2009. Mom pretty much stressed all thru the holidays with that, work, and the fact that my catfamily member Patrick got real sick as well with his CRF flare-up the day after Christmas. (He's back to feeling good now YAY!)

Somewhere in the middle of Christmas and New Years I got neutered (more about that later).

Overall, we survived and are cautiously looking at 2009.
I think it may be a difficult year, honestly.
(Not to be a big downer or anything.)

But hey, that's why kitties are here, to help with the hard times and make everyone feel better.

I don't know whether I will simply insert the missing blog posts and date them as they were. Or recap in present time. Hmmmmm. I DO have some musings on notepad so I just may put em in sequence.

Am I making this harder than it is or what?
*assembles notes*

Hopefully some catch up entries very soon.
